Wonderland Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer

I just love this card, when I purchased the Wonderland stamp set I wondered what I would use the Antlers for but during one of my browsing sessions on Pinterest I came across a card using the Antlers and some Basic Rhinestones for the Eyes and Nose. Needless to say I had to make one of these cards, I coloured the Basic Rhinestones with Non SU Red & Black Sharpie Markers. Don't you just love Rudolph.

Extravaganza Project Pillow Box

Last week we had our Christmas Extravaganza, we had a fabulous turnout of just under 110 guests, there were 16 of us teaching. Below is the project Heather Michelle and I taught, it was a Pillow Box with an Embossing Technique. This was cased from Leena Girsa , we made the Pillow Box colour scheme in Whisper White Card stock Gold and Silver embellishments, plus the fabulous new Glitter Ribbon from the Holiday Catalogue. The technique  we included on the Pillow Box was how to have the embossed pattern going the same way on the front and back.

Here Comes Santa

Here is another Christmas card we made in class this month I cased this card from Michelle Last who made these cards from some tags made by Delys Cram.

We used 3 sets of Framelits for this card the Hearth and Home and Sleigh Ride Framelits sets and the Christmas Greetings Thinlits, I just love these new Framelit sets. The Hearth and Home Framelits along with the Happy Scenes Stamp set or the Sleigh Ride Framelits along with the Jingle all the Way Stamp set or the Christmas Greetings Thinlits and Holly Jolly Stamp set can all be purchased separately or as Bundles in the Holiday Catalogue (p10 &12), we also used the Brick wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Don't you just love the Wooden Snowflake ( another favourite of mine).

Silent Night in Winter Wonderland

I love this Technique it is so popular at the moment, I first saw a card made by Ann Craig so of course I just had to try it.  As you can see I used the fabulous Wonderland Stamp set and Woodland Embossing Folder. I must say it is one of my favourite suites out of the Holiday Catalogue. 

Don't you just love the wooden Snowflake Elements they come in a pack of 24, 8 each of 3 designs, 2 sizes 2.9cm, 3.8cm.

A little Winter Christmas Fun plus Weekly Deals

I know I have said it before but I love Winter Christmas cards and this one would be perfect for a Child or even the Adult Child in your life, I just love the Snow Place stamp set which also includes Penguins in the set along with lots of other accessories.  

The Watercolor Wash Background Stamp is great for an easy colour wash background. For the snow layer we ripped along the edge of and sponged 2 pieces of Whisper White Cardstock then used the 2 way Glue pen to add some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

A Holly Jolly Christmas & Weekly Deals

I made this card at Team training a while ago it is such a quick and simple card to make but still very effective. We used the Stamp set called Holly Jolly Greetings (page 34 of the Holiday Catalogue) their are 5 images and 17 greetings which means you can make a greeting of your own with all the phrases and words in the set.

I Think Your Great, Baby Wipe Technique

I cased this card from the Internet but for the life of me I can't find the original post so I couldn't credit the person who shared it but  Thank you anyway.

The back ground image is from the set I Think Your Great. 

I used some Baby Wipe's for this Technique, place a couple of dry folded Baby Wipe's into a flat container then I add a few drops of ink from 3 different coloured Ink refills, (this acts as a temporary Ink pad), the colours I used were Rich Razzleberry, Temting Turqouise and Wild Wasabi. 

I also stamped the sentiment using this method.

ESAD Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop

Now on to my project. For the feature on my card I have used the Sleigh Ride Edgelit Dies, Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies plus the Softly Falling Embossing Folder from the Holiday Catalogue. The only Stamped piece on this card is the word Christmas. I made 33 of these cards for a team training swap which was held yesterday. 

The Whisper White mat was embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder I then used a Night of Navy Stampin' Marker to ink up the word Christmas from an Embellished Ornaments sentiment.  The Night of Navy center is actually a separate Oval which was cut and embossed then the White Craft Ink pad was wiped across it and left overnight to dry, the Houses were cut with the Sleigh Ride Framelit Die I added Marina Mist ink under the Houses  for the snow scene using a Sponge Dauber, then added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with the 2-Way Glue pen. This piece was then adhered to the Night of Navy Oval which in turn was adhered to the underside of the Whisper White Matt. 

For each card this involved 6 cuts, 4 of them through the Big Shot (in total 132 cuts through the Big Shot),  Which means I cut 196 pieces of cardstock and Embossed 66 pieces of cardstock in all.
