"Now where did I put my Tea Bags"

"Now where are my tea bags, oh that's right in the Tea Caddy". This is my latest class project a Teabag Caddy they look fabulous when finished (there is a bit off cutting involved for the Designer Series Paper). I managed to find some Lipton Chamomile Teabags and of course they were blue to match the Tea Caddy (whoops I forgot to put them in the caddy for the photo).  I found this Tutorial on Flowerbug's Inkspot Blog here.

For the Lid I cut out two flowers with the Fancy Flower Punch, stamped them with the big tea cup image  (Tea Shoppe stamp set) to give them some depth, I then curled the leaves with a Bone Folder, cut between two of the petals on one Flower and adhered one petal on top of the other to make it a smaller four petal flower then adhered the two Flowers together, punched another Flower out in Twitterpated Designer Series Paper, cut off 4 of the petals scrunched them up and adhered them to the two layer flower lastly I added an In Color Brad to finish it off,  then adhered the Flower to the Caddy Lid with some Glue Dots..

Stamps: Tea Shoppe
Ink: Island Indigo
Card Stock: Island Indigo
Designer Series Paper: Twitterpated
Other: Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon, Simply Scored Scoring Tool, In Color Brads, Decorative Label Punch,  Extra Large Oval Punch, Fancy Flower Punch, Glue Dots, Paper Piercer, Sticky Strip, Tombow Multi Adhesive,

Naturals Composition Trifold Cards

Wednesday evening's class was a Trifold card, cased from a tutorial by Tanya Bell. I changed the colours around and used Crumb Cake for the base instead of Early Espresso and used a bit more of the Composition Designer Series Paper, I am sure you will love this designer paper it is fabulous.  The flower, it is made from Primrose Petals card stock and brown packing paper from Stampin' Up!. The framelits have been matted in Primrose Petals and Soft Suede which just finishes them off. there is a bit of a bit of cutting involved for this card but well worth it for the end result
This first card uses the stamp set Petite Pairs Best Wishes, the close up shows how you can step the card up with  Faux stitching.

This second card is stamped with Vintage Verses from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set which is free with any $120 order until March 22nd, the close up shows just a slight sponging round the edges.

Stamp sets: Petite Pairs, Vintage Verses
