2015/2016 Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peek plus Weekly Deals

I thought I would show you a sneak peek of a card I made for a Team swap today. The Holiday Catalogue will be available on September 1st. This is a set called Flurry Of Wishes, each snowflake has been stamped in Bermuda Bay ink then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. The Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper for the middle layered snowflake was spritzed with a mixture of Water, Isopropyl and Bermuda Bay Ink a Technique Jacque Williams, Paula Reid and Kath Gabriel taught at the Auckland Extravaganza. I know we don't have a white Christmas here in New Zealand but that doesn't stop me from loving Snowflake stamp sets.

A Quick Note Card and Weekly Deals August 12th - 18th

I thought I would share a quick Note Card with you using the You've Got This Stamp set, I have used one of our Crumb Cake Note Cards ($12.75 a pack of 20 with Envelopes) page 149 of the Annual Catalogue. I have added a mat of Blackberry Bliss card stock then on the Very Vanilla mat I stamped the background off twice before stamping,  the Flower has been stamped in Blackberry Bliss then to soften the edges I used a Blender pen.

Floral Wings and Sequins

I just love our new Hostess set floral wings, I loved this Bag made by Teri, I thought it would make a fabulous card, which it does I have changed the ribbon to Organza Ribbon, but apart from that it is the same. Floral wings is a fabulous 2 step stamp set it also has a lovely stem with leaves which you can add little flowers to and of course it matches Butterfly Thinlets and the Bold Butterfly Framelits.

Bakers Box, Butterflies and Chocolate

Last Saturday we held the Creative Inkers Extravaganza in Auckland, I made these gifts for my Ladies who attended and of course they were filled with chocolate goodies. I used our fabulous new Bakers Box Thinlit to make them, all you have to do is cut 2 pieces then adhere together and decorate. The little Butterfly is cut with our new set Bold Butterfly Framelits and of course Tip Top Taupe and Calypso Coral go beautifully together.

I punched the Very Vanilla label  by cutting a strip and placing it into the Decorative label Punch 

Here's how to make the Label

 First cut a strip of card stock 2cm wide slide one end into the Punch from the bottom making sure it is centered  as above punch (1st picture), remove then slide the other end into the opposite side of the punch and punch (2nd picture) . The 3rd picture is the label you will end up with, this way you can have a different label and make it as wide or as long as you need.
