Now onto my project I have used the Bright & Beautiful stamp set and Star Framelits to make a card and gift card. This is an idea I found on the internet and changed it up a little. This was also a swap I made for the creative Inkers team training a couple of weeks ago. The tiny little stars are punched from the new Confetti stars punch. The large star is embossed in Cherry cobbler and the little star is Embossed in Gold.

Other: Big Shot, Magnetic plate, Star Framelits,  Confetti Stars Punch,

Traveler and The Shadow Technique

The Traveler stamp set is fabulous to use for male cards, Deb Valder has a Tutorial on her blog for the technique on this card. I made it slightly different by using the Whisper White as the matt then using Basic Gray for the card base, I also moved the sentiment lower down which is stamped in Black Staz On.

Auckland Extravaganza

On Saturday last week July 26th we held the Auckland Extravaganza and what a fabulous day it was. There were about 93 guests with 14 demonstrators teaching, I really enjoy these days we have a lot of fun along with meeting some wonderful crafters with the same crafting passion as us Demonstrators. Lesley, Sara and I taught a fabulous card cased from Nikki Spencer. I loved this card as soon as I saw it on Pinterest.
We changed the card slightly by adding a Calypso flower under each stamped flower, pearls were added to the Butterfly and the leaves were punched out of Pear Pizzazz card stock.

In this picture you can just see a hint of the Calypso flowers under the stamped flowers
